  • First Offense Driving While Intoxicated Charges: BAC Reading Greater than .10%
    • Seven to twelve month loss of driving privileges;
    • Fine anywhere from $200 to  $500
    • 12 to 48 hours in the Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center (IDRC)
    • Potential 30 Days in the Monmouth County Jail
    • Insurance Surcharges for $1,000 a year for three years
  • 2nd Offense Driving While Intoxicated: t
    • Mandatory two year driver’s license loss;
    • Fine up to $1,000
    • 12 to 48 hours in the Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center (IDRC)
