  • A mandatory 7 to 12 month loss of license will be imposed;
  • A fine ranging anywhere from $200 to $500 will be imposed;
  • A Defendant will be required to participate in the Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center (IDRC) for anywhere for 12 to 48 hours;
  • A Defendant could be incarcerated in the Monmouth County Jail for up to 30 Days.
  • An insurance surcharge in the amount of $1,000 will be imposed for the next three years

2nd Offense DUI:

  • A mandatory 2 year driver’s license loss will be imposed;
  • A fine up to $1,000 will be imposed;
  • 12 to 48 hours in the Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center (IDRC)
  • A Defendant will be sentenced anywhere from 2 to 90 Days in the Monmouth County Jail.
  • An insurance surcharge in the amount of $1,000 a year for three years will be imposed.

3rd Offense DWI:

  • A mandatory 10 year driver’s license loss will be imposed;
  • A mandatory $1,000 fine will be imposed;
  • A Defendant will be sentenced to a mandatory 180 days in the Monmouth County Jail. However, 90 days of that sentence may be served in an inpatient rehabilitation center.
  • Insurance Surcharges of $1,000 a year for three years
